Cisco
Architected and delivered a scalable cloud migration pipeline enabling seamless transition from on-prem infrastructure to AWS.

Overview
Cisco needed to move a complex, decades-old on-prem infrastructure to AWS without disrupting live services. We designed the migration architecture, built the tooling, and delivered a phased rollout plan that reduced risk and kept teams unblocked throughout the transition.

Approach

Discovery
Mapped services, data flows, and ownership so every migration wave had a clear checklist and rollback path.
Automation
Built repeatable pipelines for provisioning, testing, and cutover so engineers could move fast without ad-hoc scripts.
Rollout
Phased migrations with observability and runbooks kept incidents rare and recoverable when edge cases appeared.

Challenge
The existing infrastructure had grown organically over 15+ years, with undocumented dependencies and no clear migration path. Any downtime had direct revenue impact.
Solution
We mapped every dependency, built a staging environment that mirrored production, and created a migration pipeline with automated rollback. The phased approach let teams migrate service-by-service with zero downtime.
Results
The programme finished on schedule with no customer-facing downtime. Cost and operational overhead dropped materially while the org gained a single, documented path for future cloud work.
